Novell File Reporter and eDirectory
Bill C. recently asked about the version of eDirectory required for File Reporter 2.x. He wrote:
Q. If we run File Reporter 2.x.x from a Windows box, will we still need to upgrade our eDirectory to version 8.8?
A. You do not need to upgrade to eDirectory 8.8 to run Novell File Reporter 2. NFR 2 uses eDirectory Authorization, Authentication and Storage Resource Discovery and Access. Those features are core functionality that have been part of eDirectory's capabilities for many years. Whatever version of eDirectory you are using today will probably work just fine with NFR 2.
