The Novell Vibe Resource Library is excited to announce an upcoming webinar which covers a highly requested topic: Using JSPs in Vibe. The presenter for the webinar will be Professional Services Senior Technical Specialist, Rob Luhrs. We hope you'll take advantage of this webinar by registering today!
Participants must have an understanding of the following:
- Basic HTML and coding principles (NOT WYSIWYG editor knowledge only)
- How JSPs work
- How Vibe Landing Pages, Forms and workflows work (and be comfortable with each of their editors)
- How to access their Vibe Servers back end structures (example: be able to get to the custom_jsps folder)
Optionally:
-Be comfortable setting up a Vibe development environment (utilizing instructions on Kablink)
The webinar will follow the following general outline:
- How Vibe utilizes JSPs (Including locations, structure and hierarchy of JSP file usage in Vibe)
- Where in the Vibe 3.3/3.4 product that JSPs can be utilized
- Where in Vibe 4.0 JSPs can be utilized
- How to utilize JSPs in a Landing Page
- How to utilize JSPs in a Form
- How to utilize JSPs to extend a workflow
- Best practices around the usage of JSPs
