SuSE Linux using ndiswrapper

Submitted by zxr250cc on 12 December 2007 - 2:13pm.

I am sorry to say that I have tried repeatedly to get this to work with three different PCMCIA wireless cards on three different IBM thinkpads and am unable to get them to work with newer versions of SuSE. (T23-T23-X31) SuSE 10.0 could make the USR 5410 work. I am using 10.2 now and have also tried 10.3, both with all three cards, to no avail. Is there a simple explanation for this? I have read the articles from Novell previously but have not been able to understand the step by step actions needed to get this to work. I have given up at this point in trying to use wireless with SuSE. I will note that a LIVE CD of Mandriva will make the USR 5410 and 5411 cards work.... I also have a RALINK RT2561 model card that I bought because it mentioned Linux on the box.

All work in WINDOWS. naturally... I want SUSE LINUX support!
