About GWDiscovery

GWDiscovery is a standalone application that allows administrators to analyze the state of the GroupWise message store to make informed storage management decisions for the organization's email and collaboration system. Through the creation of comprehensive discovery reports, GWDiscovery helps organizations protect information and lower storage costs, and enables system administrators to better manage the organization's electronic assets through all stages of its lifecycle.

GWDiscovery can also be used as a discovery tool for GWArchive to help system administrators make storage management and retention decisions, such as how many messages should remain in the live GroupWise message store before using GWArchive to create archiving polices to move messages that have reached a certain threshold to a primary storage location, or create ILM policies to groom messages from expensive primary storage to less expensive secondary storage.
