ENGL Zwlancfg is a FreeWare utility designed to configure Microsoft wireless network settings from the command line. Zwlancfg will write success and failure messages to the log file 'zwlancfg.log'.

Zwlancfg 2.1.0.0 (June 13, 2008)

  • Added: Ability to export a specified profile
  • Added: Ability to import a profile from an XML file
  • Added: Support for Vista SP1 and XP SP3
  • Added: New PEAP security options for Vista SP1
  • Added: Hex key support for WEP, WPAPSK and WPA2PSK
  • Fixed: Crash when network key containing % signs is written to the log file

Requirements:

  • Windows XP SP2 (requires Microsoft hotfix 918997)
  • Windows XP SP3
  • Windows Vista SP1
  • Windows Wireless Management

Usage:

zwlancfg /?

Example:

zwlancfg.exe /ssid:"ENGLTEST-WPA-TLS" /ct:"ESS" /mode:"auto" /auth:"WPA" /encrypt:"TKIP" /ieee8021x:"true" /eap:"EAP-TLS" /log
