Problem

A Forum reader recently asked:

"When I install GroupWise Messenger, user intervention is required, so it is not a
silent install. I have not found any setup switches in setup.cfg or in setup.ini to correct this problem."

Solution

There is an undocumented switch for GroupWise Messenger install. Just put UPDATE at the end of the command, like this:

'x:\setup.exe UPDATE'

If you use ZEN for Desktops, you can pass UPDATE via the parameters box.
