My name is Mike and I'm a Cool Author. (crowd replies in monotone unison, "Hi Mike.")

Although I have been a Cool Solutions Author for about 2 years, this is my first CoolBlog. As such, I am required, by law, to introduce myself. See Jon Giffard's Blog entry, http://www.novell.com/coolblogs/?p=1096.

I have been working with Novell products since ELS II and actually enjoyed reading the NetWare 3.11 Install manual when it first came out. I was mesmerized by NLMs and the concept of patching the OS in memory without modifying the original files. The bug had bitten me hard and I'm sure that most of you can relate in some fashion.

I've worked with everything from NetWare for SAA 1.0 to IDM 3.5.1 and still loving every minute of it.

I hope to see you all at BrainShare 2008.

Enjoy this new Cool Solutions look too!

NetWare for SAA

Submitted by jmarton on 3 March 2008 - 6:45pm.

I still have an old long sleeve NetWare for SAA t-shirt I wear sometimes. It's dark blue and appears to be a plain shirt except when you look closely in the collar you see "SAA". It's freakin' sweet.
