Problem

You need to maintain distribution lists of Internet email addresses that will be accessible to all your GroupWise users. For example, you might need a list of city council members' email addresses.

Solution

1. Create a Groupwise Resource Object named "City Council" within your Groupwise PO.

2. Proxy this object and create a rule forwarding all items received. Within the rule, type in all of the external email addresses for the distribution list.

When you need to modify the list, just proxy the object and edit the rule. Or better yet, grant proxy access to whomever should be responsible for maintaining the list and show them how to edit the rule.
