Problem

A Forum reader recently asked:

"For some reason my users cannot use the "Send To" option in Word 2003. This basically attaches the currently opened document to an email message, using the default email client. Is there anything that I need to do so MS Office 2003 will work with the GroupWise client this way?"

And here is the response from Patrick Farrell ...

Solution

Reinstall the GW client. I have a few machines that periodically lose the ability to send via GW and reinstalling the gw client fixes this.

If that doesn't work, Copy c:\windows\system32\mapi*.* (or from wherever your system32 folder is located) from a working machine to that one. That will fix it - I know, because I just did it. I looked casually at at a few files and they were the same, so it's probably just one of those files.
