AdRem Lite Remote Console (Litecon) is a utility for fast eDirectory-enabled access to the NetWare server console that that uses IPX and TCP/IP.

Due to the custom compression algorithm, the program works effectively over very slow and overloaded Internet and WAN connections. Users can discover servers via SLP, view and work on many console screens of a single server, switch easily between servers and create shortcuts to servers. No server-side installation required.

Unlike the DOS-based RConsole, Litecon does not overload Windows and supports all NetWare platforms, including Novell NetWare 4.11, NW 5, NW 5.1, and NW 6. AdRem Litecon runs on Windows Vista/XP/2000.

I have to ask

The console is a great tool. However, why did the company decide to transform freecon into litecon and transform the price from $0 to $499?

Linux Netware Console client?

At work I use an old version of AdRem, which works quite well, but actually I am still looking for a native Linux client to access my Netware consoles... Any clue what I should use?

Linux Console Netware Server

You could go several ways:-
1. Use Remote Manager Console Control via a Web browser (the easiest)
2. Install the nlm vnc server on Netware and use linux vnc viewer (not officially supported)
3. Setup SSH on the Netware server and use a SSH client. (Hard to change screens)
4. And for the hardest of all - a remote xserver back to the x86 running on Netware (I did see a howto somewhere!)
