openSUSE Build Service Branches Out
With the openSUSE build service expanding support to RedHat and CentOS coming into play, I wonder how much help this will do with cross-platform compatibility.
It's already difficult enough to move from one Linux to the next. It's an even bigger headache to migrate from different UNIX based operating systems into Linux, or to make the leap from Windows platforms.
What little I know about Mono tells me that people are starting to make a jump into interoperability. While I'm certainly not a fan of the Redmond or RedHat camps, I really hope this takes away some headaches in the future.
