Tool

This tool performs an authenticated, non-destructive LDAP search of the eDirectory database for Novell Cluster Services (NCS) volume resources. Information about each eDirectory object associated with the volume resource helps confirm the proper object association. It also checks for expected attributes on each of the objects. For use on OES Linux with NCS and NSS volume resources.

1. Download vr_ncs_check-1.00.tgz
2. Extract the tarball
   tar zxf vr_ncs_check-1.00.tgz
3. Run the vr_ncs_check.sh command as root
   vr_ncs_check-1.00/vr_ncs_check.sh
4. Enter your admin FDN and password when prompted
