Launching the Groupwise Linux Admin Install from SUSE Linux 10
Problem
You may be unable to launch the GroupWise Linux admin install from a SUSE Linux 10 workstation.
Solution
Here are the steps to follow to solve this problem:
1. Make a backup of your /etc/SUSE-release file.
2. Edit /etc/SUSE-release deleting all that there and paste one of the following two-line examples:
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 (i586) VERSION = 9
or
SUSE Linux 9.3 (i586) VERSION = 9.3
3. Run through the install and then restore your orginal /etc/SUSE-release file.
