Welcome to my blog. I figured that this would be a good place to ramble on about some of the more interesting challenges facing us doing IT in South Africa.

Firstly a little background... I installed my first NetWare network back in 1989 and fell in love with networking and, more particular, Novell products.

Besides holding a gamut of Novell certifications I became a CNI in 1999 and am still currently a CNI (contract trainer). I work for a small, yet highly effective, IT service provider. We have to come up with some rather innovative ideas to solve the challenges that face us and our customers often without the most up to date tools and sometimes little budget.

Well, that's all for now. I need to run along to get on a plane to get to our local Novell function for the year called REDucation :-)
