PlateSpin Recon is the first data center workload profiling, analysis and planning tool to combine consolidation planning with virtual capacity management. This assists customers by giving them an ongoing view of their physical and virtual infrastructure.

This summer Novell will work to update the Systems Deployment and Best Practice Guide for ZENworks Configuration Management.

Each year several hundred thousand RISC/UNIX platforms are migrated to Linux, Windows, another UNIX system or a different platform. More than 80 percent of the migrated systems are moved to Linux or Windows with most of the remainder moving to another RISC/UNIX platform.
