I've used just about every email client you can imagine, from Eudora, to Pocomail, to Groupwise, to Evolution, to Thunderbird. I use both Groupwise and Thunderbird daily and if you're looking for a sleek email client that does just email, Thunderbird is hard to beat. It has great IMAP support and has the large Mozilla based development community behind it so like Firefox there are lots of great extensions out there.

The other day a friend of mine sent me this link to MIT's Seek Thunderbird Plugin and I have to say this thing rocks. If you love the way retail sites have used faceted browsing to help you find the right camera you were looking for, then you'll love Seek for Thunderbird. Check out the video demo even if your not a Thunderbird user to see what it can do for you or could do for you.
