Problem
In iManager 2.5 the SASdefaultloginsequence attribute should be set to “Simple Password” in order to make Simple Password the default login method. This can be applied to a container or a single user object.
With iManager 2.7, that attribute is no longer available, making it very difficult to apply Simple Password on a container. To do this, it's necessary to use iManager 2.5.
Solution
This tip shows you how to make Simple Password the default login method for a container or user, using iManager 2.7.
1. Log in to iManager 2.7 with admin credentials and go to Directory administration.
2. Go to Modify Object.

3. Select the container name or user object on which Simple Password is to be set as the default.

4. Click the NMAS tab.

5. Click Login Sequence and select the password method that you want to make as default login method (Simple Password in this case).
