This tool can be used to calculate replication / Synchronization time in any eDirectory server.

This script will return the time taken data for the replication / synchronization in seconds.

Usage:

  1. Copy the script in SLES / Redhat machine where ldap utilities are installed.
  2. Edit the script and provide following details:
    IP Adreess, port, admin context and password of the replication server.
  3. Edit the script and provide base context like -b ou=campus1,o=university.
  4. Edit the script and provide user count.
  5. Run the script
    perl sync.pl
