Yes, It's about time that I get back writing some posts on coolblogs. After we closed down the old coolblog page I took a short blog-break....
Time to get back on-line :-)

Most people probably saw that we've released the 10.0.3 update for ZCM, many customers have been waiting for this release.
Probably the most important change in this update is the new system update component. For many customers updating from 10.0.0 to 10.0.1 and later from 10.0.1 to 10.0.2 has not been as easy as it should have been, as a result we went back to the drawing board and did a full redesign of system update and this is now included in 10.0.3.

Unfortunately to get the 10.0.3 release we still use the old update code and as such, some customers might run into some issues. For those of you that have seen some issues make sure you look at TID 3156703 as this is where we gather the troubleshooting info for the old update system. If the knowledgebase isn't able to help you, work with Novell Support to see how we can get the update through.

One more note..
As the update process has been causing some issues, Novell decided to update the install so that new customers can start with 10.0.3 and won't have to do the updates. The updated iso's are available at download.novell.com.
