This week I’ll be in Grand Rapids, Michigan to present at the Western Michigan Novell Users Group’s annual shin-dig in Grand Rapids.
The conference organizer, Mary Matthews says that I’ll be showing off some Linux desktop stuff.

Hi Ted:
I saw that cool 3D GUI presentation and wanted to know if there was a URL I could go to to learn more. I can't even remember what you called it. Or maybe you could just summarize here...
Many thanks for any reply, -Peter

Hey, Peter: To get you

Hey, Peter:
To get you started, you can check out a couple different items:
- First, we show some of the Desktop Effects in one of these online videos.
- Second, you can check out openSUSE.org's page on Compiz to learn more about the keystrokes and supporting software.
- Third, if you want to live on the bleeding edge, you can check out the Beryl project, and install it from the (unsupported) software repository on openSUSE.org
