Yes- it's that time again. As many of our readers prepare to "fall back", here's a handy reminder of how Daylight Saving Time is accommodated by Novell products.

Daylight Saving Time updates are grouped into three areas that have common or similar requirements.

1. Operating Systems
2. Java instances
3. Application specific updates

Each of these areas have different requirements and methods to implement the daylight saving time updates. The following three Overview sections provide general information on DSTupdate requirements for each area. The overview sections are followed by specific sections for each Novell product or solution area.
