Quickbooks on Linux

(View Disclaimer)

Quickbooks Enterprise has been added to the suite of third party installs for Novell Open Workgroup Suite Small Business Edition. If you already have a NOWS SBE server simply login to the admin GUI and look at the third party feed. There will be a link to download / install the Quickbooks packages. From there just go to the NOWS SBE Add / Remove software page to finish the setup.

QuickBooks

More emphasis should be placed on the fact that the Enterprise version of QuickBooks will share data, but not the "original" versions of QuickBooks. The majority of small business users of QuickBooks are using the original versions of QuickBooks Pro (muli-user), and probably never heard of the Enterprise version. The confusion over this has cost one of my clients hundreds of dollars wasted on a Netware to SUSE upgrade.
