On the last day of 2008, I am posting my first blog entry. Allow me to introduce myself as one of Novell's Client Executives. I can speak to Novell products in all of our focus areas – Identity and Security, End User Computing, and Data Center Solutions.

This blog will be slightly different from some of the other discussions on Cool Solutions in that we will be focusing more on solving business problems with Novell technologies. I hope to use this forum extensively in 2009 to:

- Share customer experiences.
- Relate current news stories to Novell solutions.
- Interact with customers and partners.
- Receive your feedback on Novell's direction.

As we prepare for the New Year, it is clear that 2009 is going to be challenging. We are all going to be asked to “do more with less.” I encourage you to subscribe to this blog and participate in the discussion on how to reduce cost, increase revenue and mitigate risk.
