This is a post to let Novell admins know about a little problem I found between nod32 v2.7 and the Novell Client v4.91 (any service pack). The workstations were using Windows XP sp2 and sp3.

When logging off you receive 2 "End Process" errors asking to end the "Dpmw32.exe" process and the "Imon Hidden Window" process.

Dpmw32.exe = Novell Distributed Print Services and it allows b-directional comms between the workstation and network printers.

I found that adding the dpmw32.exe file to the Imon exclusion list solved the problem.

It is possible it might affect other antivirus software. Also when installing the Novell Client its quite possible that unticking the install NDPS software might solve the problem to but I have not tested this yet.

Hope this info helps someone.

I have got the same problem.
I have tried to solve this with adding the dpmw32.exe to the exclution list. This did not work.

Windows XP sp3
Novell Client 4.91 sp4
Iprint client
zfdagent

Are there more people with this problem? Or are there people who had this problem and have solved it. Maybe you would like to react so I can solve this problem.

Many thanks.
