DESCRIPTION: Would you like to send a new article for reviewing, editing, and everything else from the convenience of your desk? You can do it with this very simple form and very robust workflow. You use the different states in this workflow to make sure that your document is read and reviewed by everyone who needs to see it. The form requires very little editing and customization. The workflow, however, is your secret weapon in this endeavor.
We recognize that each business has a different and unique process for approving company articles. In this example, an article is submitted first to the primary language editors. When they complete their review, the article is sent to the secondary language editors for review. The edited article is then reviewed by the original author and passed on for the final editorial review. This workflow also has a parallel thread that allows for a simultaneous review of any images that are used in the article. When both of these threads are completed successfully, the article is sent on for publication. E-mail notifications are automatically sent to the editors and reviewers when the article needs their attention, and the article can be sent back to the author at any time for modifications.
