Generally screen shots are very useful while writing articles or transition documents or tutorials. They will help the user to understand the content very easily and quickly.
Windows:
Method: Suppose if we want to take the entire desktop as a screen shot
Open the windows or the minimize them all ( winkey + D) to see the desktop depends on what you want to take the screen shot of.
- Press the Prt Scr key on the key board.
- Open mspaint (run -> mspaint)
- You can open OpenOffice Writer or MS Word and paste there.
- Paste (ctrl + v )
- Now save the picture in the format you like.
- Open the window / application and keep it in the size you like.
- Press "ALT + PrtScr" ( make sure the window is in focused state )
- Open mspaint (run -> mspaint)
- You can open OpenOffice Writer or MS Word and paste there.
- Paste (ctrl + v ) ( we see on the application window instead of entire desktop )
- Now save the picture in the format you like.
- Press Prt Scr (by default) key on the key board.
- Automatically it will generate a save screen shot dialog prompting you to save the picture
- Press OK to save, (a preview of the screen shot also will be shown in the dialog)
- Open the window / application and keep it in the size you like.
- Press "ALT + PrtScr" ( make sure the window is in focused state )
- Automatically it will generate a save screen shot dialog prompting you to save the picture
- Now save the picture in the format you like.
