Novell recently released a new update to the Novell File Management Suite, which includes Novell File Reporter 1.0.1. The new version provides the ability for proxy agents in Novell File Reporter to report on Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices in Active Directory managed networks. Proxy agents can also report on server clusters in both Active Directory and eDirectory managed networks. Find out more.

If you ever need to get patches from Novell, you're going to love this. They've made several enhancements to the Novell patch download experience based on customer and partner feedback. Here's what's new. (Our favorite is the new Quick Search that makes it so you don't have to navigate through all those drop-down menus to get to your product version.)

OK -- we're in Drupal 6 now, if you don't count the bugs ;-) The IS&T Team is working like mad to address all the issues, so patience remains a virtue.

Lost in the fanfare in last month’s release of the Novell File Management Suite was the introduction of Novell Storage Manager 2.5 SP1. Version 2.5 SP1 was included in the Novell File Management Suite primarily because of its integration with Novell File Reporter—a product also included in the suite. But there are a lot of cool new features in Version 2.5 SP1 that you’ll definitely want to take advantage of right away.
