Baracus: Next Generation of Interoperable Boot and Build Management
Novell just announced the release and support of Baracus-an open source platform for remote boot management and system provisioning. More and more cloud management tools are becoming available to enable and automate Service Provider offerings. However, there is a technology gap when it comes down to the lower levels of systems management. Baracus addresses this current technology gap while maintaining interoperability.
Speaking of maintaining the highest level of interoperability, Baracus provides a complete REST based API to streamline integration with other management tools.
So, overall Baracus capabilities provide complete systems management possible in physical and cloud environments. Check out baracus-project.org for more info.
