GWAVA Releases GWAVA 5 Anti-Virus Anti-Spam Solution

(View Disclaimer)

Viruses and threats penetrate your network from a wide range of entry points. The latest version of GWAVA, with internal and external scanning, provides unique protection, ensuring that threats and damages are minimized. Only GWAVA provides total scanning from the inside out for your Novell GroupWise messaging platform. GWAVA intercepts all messages passing through GroupWise MTAs and GWIAs in real time to make sure they are spam- and virus-free.

GWAVA can run at scheduled intervals to scan and quarantine viruses that may already be lurking in the post office. GroupWise connectors to the MTA, POA and GWIA come standard. Plus, for total Novell coverage, GWAVA provides a Vibe OnPrem (Teaming 3.0) plug-in.

GWAVA also includes SMTP to filter messaging at the perimeter of any standards-based internet mail system, including Microsoft Exchange, Novell GroupWise or Lotus Domino.

Additions to the GWAVA 5 product include support for Linux, Windows and Novell OES. GWAVA 5 supports Microsoft Exchange as well as Novell GroupWise, Lotus Notes, and other platforms such as Zimbra.

GWAVA has expanded its reporting functionality and administrator alerts. The sophisticated browser-based user interface is streamlined with an expanded statistics monitoring dashboard. Performance enhancements for the newly released GWAVA 5 include optimizations for the SMTP scanner, anti-virus engine, spam engine and LDAP.
