Target Platform: Windows NT/2K/XP/2003

This is the little console tool to change the time stamp of any file on the windows platform. This tool shows the timestamp of the file as well as allows you to modify them. You can change the Creation Time, Last Access Time and Last Modified Time of the file. As far as I know, there is no other similar tool for windows.

This is very useful tool when you want to keep track of file changes from spyware, rootkits and other such malicious programs.

How to use this tool?

This is console tool and hence you should use it from command prompt. On running it, you will see the following usage information.

       ChangeTime.exe [-c] <filename>

       Options:
-c Change the timestamp of file. If not specified it will
              display the current values.

While changing time stamp of the file, you can press "Enter" to retain the existing values.
