GWIA and Blacklist Addresses
Problem
Connecting to GWIA via SMTP, it takes up to 35 seconds for the SMTP banner to appear. External GWIA connections are timing out.
Solution
If you have Blacklist Addresses added under the Access Control tab in the GWIA properties in ConsoleOne, and one of the addresses is down or not responding, the GWIA will wait up to 35 seconds for the blacklist to connect. To fix this,
1. Remove the down blacklist from the Blacklist Addresses list.
2. Shut down, then restart the GWIA.
