I delivered my keynote on Monday morning to a packed room of Novell faithful. The topic was on owning a word and becoming the dominant player in your market.

I discussed Novell's past role as the dominant player in the Network OS marketing with NetWare. And how Novell owned a word in the minds of the market.

But Novell lost its position and now is attempting to get it back. I believe that there is a clear strategy for Novell to reestablish themselves in the minds of the market with a new word and a new position that separates them from the other Linux players.

A copy of my powerpoint presentation can be viewed on my blog at http://gwbliss.blogspot.com

Disclaimer: As with everything else at Cool Solutions, this content is definitely not supported by Novell (so don't even think of calling Support if you try something and it blows up).

It was contributed by a community member and is published "as is." It seems to have worked for at least one person, and might work for you. But please be sure to test, test, test before you do anything drastic with it.
