Error: This CPU is VT-capable, but VT is not enabled (check your BIOS firmware settings)
Problem:
When trying to create a 64bit virtual machine on 64bit hardware I got the error: "This CPU is VT-capable, but VT is not enabled (check your BIOS firmware setting)".
Solution:
- Restart / reboot the machine and goto BIOS settings.
- Select CPU information.
- Enable Virtualization Technology. (By default it will be disabled)
- Save and exit from BIOS.
- Restart the system.
