McGill University Health Centre Chooses aZension
The McGill University Health Centre (MUHC), located in Montreal, Quebec, is one of the most comprehensive university health centres in North America. The MUHC represents five teaching hospitals affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine of McGill University: The Montreal Children’s, Montreal General, Royal Victoria, and Montreal Neurological hospitals, as well as the Montreal Chest Institute.
With over 5000 workstations migrating into an Active Directory infrastructure, MUHC was looking for a way to manage these as easily as possible. The extensive feature set and web-based management console of ZENworks Configuration Manager are what weighed in favor of the aZension appliance, according to Hichem Motemem, Manager, Servers and Operating Systems.
“We had used an old version of ZENworks in the past, so seeing how much it had evolved - and that it could be integrated into our Active Directory environment - made our decision fairly easy”, said Motemem. “And the support and training that Adaris bundles in with the aZension appliance made it that much easier!”
