Example walk through of using XPATH in Identity Manager
I keep my eyes open as I work in Identity Manager for good examples of XPATH usage that might be handy to others, and this one happened to me today. I walked one of my coworkers through it, who is still learning XPATH, and realized it would be a great example to write an article about the process of debugging what I wanted to do.

Challenge/Response IDM Driver Configuration
The ability to use Challenge/Response information for password reset information is one that Novell has offered for a long time. Setting default Challenge/Response values for a given user is not easily accomplished normally and can result in a new user getting prompted for data before they are familiar with business policies and the purpose of the prompts. Continue on to see how to set default, customized values for users using Novell Identity Manager (IDM) and some NMAS calls.

How to Create CSV Export Files Without the Delimited Text Driver
The IDM Delimited Text Driver does a pretty good job at creating CSV export files, but at a cost. The solution described in this article can generate CSV format files using the Null Service Driver, some ECMA scripts and a Job. All these are available using the basic IDM activation. Intrigued?
