In NetWare Link/SNA, a parameter that corresponds to control point name (CPNAME). CPNAME is an operand in a Virtual Telecommunications Access Method (VTAM) definition statement coded with the network-qualified name of a control point (CP). A control point name consists of a network ID qualifier identifying the network to which the CP's node belongs and a unique name identifying the CP. Each APPN or low-entry networking (LEN) node has one control point name.
