From the NGW List :

Just an FYI. In GroupWise 8, there is a registry setting that turns off the Document folder in the Windows GroupWise client.

HKCU\Software\Novell\GroupWise\Client\Setup\DocMan=Off

Tnx to Kenneth Etter for posting this in the NGW List!

FYI: In the HKCU\Software\Novell\GroupWise\Client\Setup key

Create a new "String Value" with a value of "Yes".

Binary REG_DWORD values will not work.

this setting caused up big problems!!!!

If users move their calendar or cabinet folder in the document folder and you hide it, it will cause groupwise to crash. We were going crazy thinking we had corruption when in fact it was this very setting that caused us nothing but problems. I highly recommend not turning off the document folder, when we reversed these changes all of our problems went away.

The string name is only DocMan and the value should be set to Off
