Updated 04/21/04: This example has been updated to take into account a change in menu context names introduced in GroupWise 6.5 that would cause the DMS menu items not to be removed.This applet example will allow you to enable or disable the Document Management menus and functions within the GroupWise 6.0 client (English only). This applet could readily be adapted to work with any language version of the GroupWise client and also can work with GroupWise 5.5 with slight modifications to the menu text and locations defined in the applet).

This applet is designed to give an understanding of how Formativ can provide powerful control over GroupWise client capabilities.

The Document Management menu items affected by this applet are:

- Import Documents (File)" - Document (File|New)" - Document Version (File|New)" - Documents Reference... (File|New)" - Version List (Actions)" - Copy Document... (Actions)" - Check Out... (Actions)" - Check In... (Actions)" - Reset Document Status (Actions)" - Mass Document Operations (Tools)" - Replace Document With Backup (Tools)"

To prevent access to document management functions via right context menus or the hotkeys, The following Document Management functions are disabled by the applet:
