Problem
A Forum reader recently asked:
"I changed Daylight Savings to the new settings on my servers, and in Groupwise I bounced all GroupWise agents. One particular user sees the workday hours change from 8-5 to 9-6 if she looks ahead to a day after the daylight savings change. From my machine, if I look at a day for next week, workday hours don't change.
My work schedule is correct until 3/10, then it goes 1 hour off (from 7:30 - 5 to 8:30 - 6) and it stays that way until November where it goes back to the correct work schedule. I have applied daylight savings patches to all PCs."
And here is the response from Gary Whaley ...
Solution
You may want to reset your work schedule time zone. We recommended all users perform the following, even after all patches were applied:
The current work schedule time zone is displayed next to the "Work Schedule" group box title on the Tools > Options > Date and Time dialog. Even if the work schedule time zone displays correctly, performing the following steps forces an update that ensures that the time zone information, along with DST transition rules, is stored correctly.
1. In the GroupWise client choose Tools | Options | Date and Time.
2. Change the Work Schedule - Start and End time values to something different.
3. Click OK.
4. Choose Date and Time again.
5. Set Start and End times back to the original or desired values.
6. Click OK.
7. Click Close.
