The open beta for Open Enterprise Server 2 Service Pack 1 is now available (see press brief at http://www.novell.com/news/press/novell-announces-...). This service pack focuses on interoperability, giving you even more powerful ways to help customers streamline administration and manage a mixed environment. The release includes CIFS and AFP support, enhanced iPrint support (including support for print accounting), 64-bit eDirectory, and enhanced migration tools featuring a single GUI. It also includes the highly anticipated Domain Services for Windows, which enables secure cross-authentication between eDirectory and Active Directory.
