LDAP subtree Object count / attribute value count.

Ever needed to know how many users are in a group, or how many users are in the tree, or a listing of all network addresses for all users in a given container? These are just a few of the things this tool can provide.

Quick results for almost any type of object or value count needed.

Can be used as a Simple LDAP Search client.

Works on Windows, Linux, OES2 or any other platform that Mono runs on.

Mono or .Net are are required to run on Windows.

Mono is required to be installed for all other platforms.

See the readme.txt file for additional information.

Features:

Returns an Entry count or an attribute value count.

SSL, anonymous bind's, and unsecure LDAP authentications supported. (see readme.txt)

Hitting enter at the search base will start the search from the top of the tree.

An asterisks (wildcard) can be used on the objectclass or attribute value when specifying the search criteria.

If you wish to have a Subordinate Count of all objects under all containers. Have your objectClass be Oranization, OrganizationalUnit, or domain. Have the attribute be subordinateCount. The subordinate Count will return how many objects are directly under the container.

As an alternative I can offer my program - UserKVYlist:

http://www.novell.com/communities/node/6788/userkv...

For that utility it is necessary only a Windows workstation and Novell Client on it.
