GroundWork Monitor Enterprise can monitor and manage the widest combination of applications, operating systems, and network devices and is the only open source solution to be included in Gartner’s 2009 Magic Quadrant for Event Correlation and Analysis. The pairing of GroundWork Monitor Enterprise with SUSE Linux Enterprise 11 in a virtual appliance gives customers a fully supported enterprise-class Linux, enterprise-class monitoring, and turnkey ease of use, all at a radical price point. David Dennis, Sr. Director Marketing & Business Development, GroundWork Open Source.

Novell partner, GroundWork, announces the Enterprise Quickstart SUSE-Powered Virtual Appliance, developed with SUSE Studio as part of the SUSE Appliance Program. The Enterprise Quick Start SUSE Powered Virtual Appliance is for environments monitoring up to 100 devices, annual service charge of $59. This virtual appliance combines GroundWork Monitor Enterprise with a fully supported version of SUSE Linux Enterprise 11.

For environments with more than 100 devices, the Enterprise Quickstart SUSE Powered Virtual appliance is fully upgradable to the flagship GroundWork Monitor Enteprise, which also supports SUSE Linux Enterprise.

Available as part of the SUSE Appliance Program, SUSE Studio gives ISVs like GroundWork the ability to create and bundle their products with compact operating system modules and deliver them as an appliance.
