iPrint Notification Script
The iPrint Notification Script will allow you to identify when both the Driver Store and Print Manager go down on a server. It will notify you either by text message or email. The script will also attempt to restart the print services to get it operational.

IDM Driver Status Script
I am working towards implementing IDM 4 into my environment. I found that on one of my servers, the driver had stopped without my knowledge. So I decided to write a bash script to check the status of the driver, restart it if needed, and email whenever the status of the driver changes.

ndsd-multi : a way to start multiple eDirectory instances simultaneously in Linux
Updated: Since the release of eDirectory 8.8.0 support for multiple instances of eDirectory on a single box has been available. Using the ndsconfig and especially the newer ndsmanage tool configuring multiple instances of eDirectory is also very easy to do. One feature that has been missing since that time has been the ability to start/stop multiple instances as easily as one can start/stop the first root-based eDirectory instance of a root-installed eDirectory during startup/shutdown. The time has come to overcome that.

LJDT: The 'watch' command
Do you ever find yourself running a command, pressing the up-arrow, then [Enter], then the up-arrow, then [Enter], then the up-arrow.... this is a great exercise that will get your fingers used to typing random odd key sequences without your eyes paying attention, but otherwise it's a complete waste of time. A command I have come to love helps me point my OCD tendencies to other pointless tasks while running commands over and over for me. Introducing 'watch', because Linux Just Does That.
