Setting up Clustering for Operations Center Dashboard

A couple of weeks ago one of our consultants in EMEA set up the Operations Center Dashboard for a customer in a clustered configuration. By this I mean, the customer wanted to ensure as much "up-time" as possible for their end users who access the Dashboard. In order to do this, multiple Dashboard instances were set up with a Load Balancer in front of it to direct users.

Sentinel 7 HA step-by-step

This article is a step-by-step tutorial describing how to setup a HA SLES11 SP1 cluster running Sentinel 7. The structure of the cluster is based on another article written by Jan Kalcic. For those who haven't work with Linux clustering before, this article can be used to build a simple cluster to experiment with. Designing and implementing Linux clusters is not a simple task. The sooner you start getting the hang of it, the more time you will have testing your cluster and making sure that things work as intended.
