ovpnstatd

ovpnstatd is a status collector daemon for OpenVPN. A part of collecting data of openvpn-sessions, it also displays the data on a simple but useful web page. The program also provides a hook for sending "passive notifications" to Nagios with "send_nsca".

Nagios eDirectory Partition Continuity Check updated to v1.2

Part of eDirectory health checking is to monitor partition continuity in the environment.

I've put together a Nagios check script which can be used by system administrators to monitor the oldest partition continuity age and alert if an age threshold is hit. It also outputs the oldest age (in seconds) as performance data which can be used to graph and determine the appropriate baseline.

To see what's changed in the latest version and to find out where the script can be downloaded from, please read on.

Nagios eDirectory Time Check updated to v1.1

Part of eDirectory health checking is to monitor time synchronisation in the environment.

I've put together a Nagios check script which can be used by system administrators to monitor whether time is out of sync on any contactable servers from eDirectory's point of view. It also outputs a list of any servers that couldn't be contacted.

To see what's changed in the latest version and to find out where the script can be downloaded from, please read on.
