iPrint on SLED 11 x86_64
If you're not familiar with iPrint, it is one of the nicest end-user technologies I think Novell develops. On Linux I find the technology even more appealing.... no rebooting, no restarting applications to use printers, nothing strange like that. With that said iPrint wasn't developed originally for a 64-bit platform, and wasn't developed for Linux first. That it works so well just makes me that much more pleased.

How to install 64-bit Novell Audit Platform Agent
There is a separate Platform Agent rpm available for 64-bit platforms. 64-bit Platform Agent installation is just a plain rpm installation. There is no installer script for it. Currently 64-bit Platform Agent is supported only on Linux (SLES and RHEL). Here's a tip from Mahantesh Hongal that explains the differences between the 64-bit Platform Agent installation and the 32-bit Platform Agent installation.

Solution for TID: 7000921
TID 7000921 outlines an issue with 8.8.2 Linux install when parsing a certain interface for the eDirectory install using the '-B' switch with ndsconfig.
The current solution is to not use the -B switch and manually specify the NIC when prompted however most people using these command line options are probably looking for some form of unattended install, my suggestion allows you to continue using the -B switch for unattended eDirectory 8.8.2 installation on Linux.
