There are plenty of file system trustee backup mechanisms for both NetWare and OES2 Linux, but they all hurt my brain. Sure, XML is great and who doesn't love Linux but I wanted a simple Windows app that could read the trustees from a volume hosted by either NetWare or OES2 Linux, would store the results in a human readable and modifiable format, and which I could use to restore said trustees to a volume hosted by either NetWare or OES2 Linux. This is the app I came up with.

OPEN CALL: How to Fluently Migrate SLP Services from NetWare to OES2?
When OES2 was released, NTS told us that it might be better to keep the SLP DAs on NetWare - which we did, but now we finally need to move those.
As I have understood there is still no Novell SLP on OES2, "only" Open SLP?
How do we make fault tolerant, as we cannot have such single point of failure?
Any experiences on this?
