On Contract in Nottingham!
I am currently working on contract in Nottingham. I am involved in a number of projects, the most interesting of which recently was implementing Novell Storage Manager. It’s one of those Niche products that you may not have heard of, but it’s absolutely excellent at what it does. Novell Storage Manager is a policy based, event driven, storage management system primarily focused on the automatic provision of user home directories.

Understanding Trustees on NetWare File Systems
Of course you know how file system trustees and rights work from the client point of view. However did you ever want to know the details on how things are actually implemented in the file system itself?

Playing with IDM 3.5.1
I'm looking at Identity Management 3.5.1, thanks to an aging internally developed identity management system that needs a rewrite. I talk about what I've found, how our own environment is put together, and how IDM 3.5.1 could possibly fit in. Our environment includes:
- NetWare
- eDirectory
- Solaris/NIS+
- Exchange 2003
- SCT Banner
- Blackboard
