ICO: New Data Management Guidelines for Legal Compliance.

ICO (Information Commissioners Office) issued new guidelines regarding businesses not following their responsibility in managing data under the DPA (Data Protection Act). As a result a failure to meet these terms could result in a fine in as much as $500,000. These new auditing guidelines will be enforced as of April 6, 2010.
