Automate deletions of messages within a ZCM Zone
In a moderate to large ZENworks Configuration Management 10 Zone the volume of messages generated into the Zone database can become huge. Novell provides a mechanism to delete messages but not to automate the deletions. In this tip I show a simple vbscript that can be scheduled to delete messages older than 90 days.

Display the number of logged on users on OES and create a log file
Sometimes it's handy to know how many people are logged into an OES server. We also like to have logging turned on so we know how high the utilization is at different times of the day. It's very easy to create a script for this thanks to ncpcon.
